Advanced rescue at height

The course equips participants with the necessary skills to carry out planned advanced rescue at height in accordance with current Work Environment Authority requirements for fall protection.

They will be able to operate and maintain various types of protective gear in accordance with current requirements and standards. They will evacuate themselves, and also evacuate casualties, for instance from roof constructions, multi-storey buildings, chimneys, bridges, cranes and various lattice tower constructions. In addition, participants will carry out evacuation and rescue operations at height in situations where normal solutions are inadequate or impossible.

TARGET GROUP
Personnel employed in the emergency services, by local authorities, the state or private employers.

Personnel whose work requires that they are able to rescue a colleague in connection with work at height.

OBJECTIVES

  • To be able to make a risk assessment.
  • To carry out planned work at height in accordance with current Work Environment Authority requirements for fall protection.
  • Operation and use of various types of protective gear in accordance with current requirements and standards.
  • Participants must be able to evacuate themselves.

DURATION
5 days

TESTS
Continual checks by means of questioning techniques in the theoretical part. The participant completes all exercises with satisfactory results. We issue a certificate when training is completed.
