RESC is a certified provider of the standard Basic Safety Training course that has been developed by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO). The course meets internationally recognised requirements for the wind turbine industry. Upon completion of the course, participants will be aware of the hazards they can encounter when working with wind turbines. Similarly, participants will also gain an understanding of how different types of risks can be appropriately controlled and managed.
The course has five modules that provide participants with a multitude of important tools related to safety, first aid, manual handling, fire awareness, working at heights and sea survival.
Our equipment comes from most of the operators in the wind turbine industry, for example, Siemens, Vestas, Dong and many others. As a result, we can issue working at heights certificates that match the industry’s equipment requirements. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns about our ability to meet your requirements.
On the menu to the right, you can choose between the five course modules that make up GWO’s Basic Safety Training course offered at RESC.
All course participants on GWO courses must complete a medical self-assessment form, which must be signed and brought along on the first day of the course.
You can download it here.
Before course, the trainee must make a ID in Winda databases.
