At RESC, we offer a variety of first aid courses that equip you to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
Whether you are an individual, employee, volunteer, or work in a company with special requirements, we have a course tailored to your needs.
All courses include a combination of:
- Theoretical instruction on the basic principles of first aid, anatomy and physiology, as well as legislation.
- Practical exercises in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), managing bleeding, burns, and minor injuries.
- Scenario exercises and role-playing to simulate real emergencies and train decision-making under pressure.
- Evaluation and feedback to ensure participants have gained the necessary skills and knowledge.

Purpose
Our first aid courses aim to provide participants with the essential skills and knowledge to deliver effective first aid in emergency situations.

These courses are for anyone who wants to learn first aid-whether you are an individual, employee, volunteer, or working in a company with specific requirements.
We also offer specialized modules tailored to particular needs and industries.
Learning Objectives
- Recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac arrest and other life-threatening situations.
- Perform CPR and use an AED.
- Manage bleeding, burns, minor injuries, and illnesses.
- Call for help and provide psychological first aid to those injured.
- Apply first aid techniques in various scenarios and environments.
Course Duration
- 4 hours for First Aid in Cardiac Arrest
- 7 hours for Citizen First Aid
- 12 hours for First Aid with Special Responsibility
- Variable durations for elective training depending on modules selected
Certification
All courses combine theory with practical exercises. Participants receive a certificate upon successful completion.
For some courses, refresher training is recommended within a specified period-for example, every 24 months for First Aid with Special Responsibility.
