GWO Basic Safety Training
– Sea Survival
Purpose
The purpose of this course is to equip participants working in the wind turbine industry with knowledge and skills that enable them to act safely and perform the appropriate preventive actions across all areas of offshore tasks; from land to installation vessel or WTG, and vice versa. This applies both to normal operations and in a given emergency situation within an offshore wind turbine environment.
Generally, the course provides participants with essential knowledge and skills that allow them to work safely within the wind turbine industry. Consequently, it meets the requirements for new employees in the wind turbine sector regarding emergency handling.
