Confined Space Safety Training

Confined Space Safety Training
- Compliance with Legislation and Safety Regulations
- Prevention of Work-Related Injuries
- Emergency Preparedness Training
Emergencies in confined spaces can escalate rapidly, leaving little time for intervention. Emergency drills offer practical training that prepares participants for potential incidents.
The training emphasizes early recognition of hazard signals, correct evacuation procedures, and techniques for assisting colleagues without compromising personal safety.
Participants also learn to operate specialized rescue equipment such as tripods, winches, and breathing apparatuses, as well as effective communication during emergencies.
These competencies better equip participants to perform prevention measures and rescues, minimizing injuries and fatalities in high-risk situations.

How to Book the Course

Course Overview
Purpose
The participant will acquire skills to work in confined spaces with horizontal and vertical side entries, including planning, risk assessment, evacuation, and rescue of a colleague in low, medium, or high-risk environments.
This includes evacuating or rescuing a colleague using a harness or stretcher with the aid of rope winches, wire winches, safety lines, or fall arrest blocks.
Participants must be able to select appropriate equipment and use it correctly as well as provide first aid.
Target Audience
The target audience for confined space rescue training includes:
- Individuals in the construction industry
- Personnel in the wind turbine industry
- Emergency response teams
- Offshore industry workers
- Workers operating in low, medium, or high-risk wells or tanks with vertical or horizontal access
