How to Book the Course
Course Overview
Purpose
The aim of our STCW courses is to guarantee that all seafarers have the essential skills needed to work safely and efficiently on board.
These training programs comply with the international standards outlined in the STCW Convention and have received approval from the Danish Maritime Authority.
Target Audience
Our courses are intended for anyone working or aspiring to work at sea, including seafarers, technicians, officers, and other professionals involved in ship operation and maintenance.
Learning Objectives
- Identify and respond correctly to emergencies on board.
- Perform first aid and CPR.
- Manage firefighting and smoke diving skills.
- Operate lifeboats and safety equipment properly.
- Understand and react appropriately to personal safety and environmental risks.
- Lead fire preparedness and onboard operations.
Course Duration
Course lengths vary depending on the module:
- Basic Sea Safety: 1 day
- Firefighting and Smoke Diving: 1 day
- First Aid: 1 day
- Personal Safety and Social Responsibility: 1 day
- Lifeboat Operation: 2 days
- Fire Leader Training: 2 days
- Helicopter Landing Officer: 1 day
- Refresher Courses: Half a day
Certification
All courses conclude with practical and theoretical assessments. Upon successful completion, participants receive an STCW certificate valid for five years.
