Confined Space

Purpose
Participants will acquire skills in working within small enclosed spaces, including planning, risk assessment, evacuation, and colleague rescue using harnesses or stretchers with ladders, winches, safety lines or fall arrest systems.
Participants must select appropriate equipment for lowering and raising while administering first aid effectively. They will also develop skills in utilizing detection equipment along with full respiratory protection gear such as escape devices and airline-supplied respirators.
Target audience
The target audience for Confined Space includes employees in the construction industry, wind power sector personnel, staff employed by rescue services, offshore workers, as well as individuals working in wells or tanks.
