Purpose
The participant will be able to act based on the main principles of first aid in situations that an average citizen may typically encounter.
The participant will respond appropriately to illnesses and accidents that are immediately life-threatening or have the potential to develop into life-threatening situations.
The participant will be capable of managing an unconscious adult, both with and without normal breathing, independently as well as in collaboration with others, in accordance with ERC guidelines for basic resuscitation.
Additionally, the participant will provide relevant first aid to an adult experiencing airway obstruction due to foreign objects, following ERC guidelines for basic resuscitation.
Target Audience
Objectives
Upon completion of the course, participants will possess knowledge and skills in:
- The complete content of the Basic Training "First Aid in Cardiac Arrest".
- Supplement 1: "First Aid in Accidents, Part 2".
- Supplement 2: "First Aid for Acute Illnesses".
- Supplement 3: "First Aid for Life-Threatening Bleeding".

Assessment
Continuous assessment through questioning techniques during the theoretical portion. Participants must successfully complete all practical exercises.
A certificate will be issued upon completion of the training.
Notes
The Danish First Aid Council (DFR) recommends updating this training within 24 months.
